Dr Colombo's research interests are focused on:
- the mitochondrial role in the pathophysiology of diabetes
- the regulation of the central metabolism during cell cycle progression
- the role of metabolism on the epigenetics of normal and pathological cells (including diabetes, cancer and multiple sclerosis)
